Kiprono destroys field to set Boston Marathon Course Record

Robert Kiprono Cheruiyot today broke the Boston Marathon Course Record. Ryan Hall, one of the favorites, finished in 2:08:41, the fastest Boston Marathon time ever by an American. Some questioned Hall’s tactics as he went to the lead early, and ran the race with youthful vigor. Ethiopia’s Teyba Erkesso won the women’s race by 3 seconds in a time of 2:26:11
