Usain Bolt is predicting the season’s fastest time in today’s Paris Diamond League. Bolt will line up against Afafa Powell. In other news, Andrew Wheating rumored to have just signed a big contract with Nike ($250,000/year (allegedly)), will run the 800m in his first race in Europe. It will be interesting to see how Wheating and his “run from the back” tactics play out. This kid is so strong, he’s going to get dragged kicking and screaming to a PR should the pace be fast enough.
Abubaker Kaki wants to break 1:42 link. and this is one of the reasons that Wheating could get such a PR.
